MOYNAHAN, Lucille Lucille Ruppersburg Moynahan, 84, of Newnan died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was born June 14, 1927 in Atlanta to the late Louis Arthur Ruppersburg & Ethel Finley Ruppersburg. Lucille grew up in College Park and was a 1944 graduate of College Park High School. She attended Shorter College before going to work in the personnel department of Delta Airlines. While working at Delta she met her husband of over 60 years, Frank J. Moynahan. All her life she was a passionate bridge player participating in several clubs. After moving to Newnan, she became very active in the community serving as a volunteer with the Newnan Hospital Auxiliary. The graveside service for family & friends in Atlanta is Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Sharon Edgar officiating. The memorial service is Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Newnan Presbyterian Church with Dr. Harry Barrow officiating. Following the memorial service, the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church. Rather than flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Newnan Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1107, Newnan, GA 30264 or to the charity of one's choice.
