BIGNAULT, Saralyn Saralyn Hudgins Bignault, 72, of Atlanta died January 1st. Born in Cornelia, GA and raised in Savannah, Saralyn retired from Gynecology and Obstetrics of DeKalb after over thirty years of service. She was an accomplished world traveler, a beloved mother and a friend to many. To her grandchildren, she was affectionately known as "Grandmother". She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Alys S. Bignault and is survived by her children Michael G. Bignault and his wife Cindy of Savannah, David W. Bignault and his wife Allison of Lilburn, Stephen F. Bignault and his wife Michelle of Lawrenceville, James L. Bignault and his wife Lizzette of Lawrenceville, Mary B. Bignault of Sandy Springs, and Jon F. Bignault and his wife Ann of Madison, AL, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings Martha Jean Herrington and James Z. Hudgins ,"Zack", both of Statesboro. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 8th, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 2855 Briarcliff Road N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329.
