Never met anyone funnier especially his Hi jinx while flying. A mind to match the humor. We've been out of touch and now live retired in Ft Walton Beach, Fl. Ed has been on my mind Cheryl. God bless you and hope you are well.

Dear Cheryl, there is a special bottle of wine in our cellar in Cooperstown NY that you and Ed brought when you came to Glimmerglass Opera and associated celebrations. We will drink the 'Ed and Cheryl' bottle soon and think of you with good wishes and of Ed with fond memories and gratitude for having been a friend for 50 years.

Cheryl,
I served with Ed in flight training, in the Corps in the early 60s in California and we remained good friends for over 55 years. He was smart, funny and a world class character. The world is a duller place without him. We will miss Ed sorely. You and Ed are in our prayers.

To Ed's Survivors,
I only got to know Ed in more recent retirement years, but I realized his great sense of humor and enthusiasm in our few meetings. With his varied interests in many areas of life, I am sure he will be missed by many family and friends. May God grant you the understanding to be happy because of your time with Ed the years you spent with him.May Ed's "flight West" bring him happy rewards.
