SMITH, Leroy Leroy Jerral Smith age 74, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerral and Dawn Smith of Auburn, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Jones of Winterville, GA; grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, and Skyler; great-granddaughter, Samantha; significant other, Jura Burt; sister, Lois Martin of Tucker, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Smith of Stone Mountain, GA, and brother-in-law, Claude Mills; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eula Smith; sisters, Hazel Smith and Carolyn Mills; and brother-in-law, Howard Martin. Leroy retired as Vice President of Operations with over 30 years for Scientific Atlanta. He was an avid Studebaker fan. Services Honoring the Life of Leroy Smith will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Lewis Stover and Ray Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dacula. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2pm-8pm.
