Family-Placed Death Notice

MOWRER, Mark With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mark Leslie "Sparky" Mowrer on August 13, 2011, age 59, at Providence Little Co of Mary Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Sparky was born in Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Horticulture. He was a long time resident of Los Angeles, California. He is survived by sister Marla B. Martinez, Georgia and brothers Michael J. Mowrer (Dana), Florida and Miles A. Mowrer, Tennessee, and nieces Kirsten Mowrer Lindsay (Benji), Keri Mowrer Tuttle (Chris) and Valerie Martinez Bilodeau (Todd) and nephew Jesse McNeely. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Mowrer and Gladys B. Mowrer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. A celebration of his life will be held at a private residence in Cumming, GA on Saturday October 1st from 1pm to 4pm. Please call 678-598-4677 for details.

Sparky, may you rest in Peace, our friend. So many memories from High School.. the parties.. we played, had fun, no worries... life was so simple then. You will be missed. We hope you find happiness in God's ultimate garden. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family... now and forever.. til we meet again. God Bless you Sparky.
