ANNA BLAKE MORRISON AJAX Anna Blake Morrison Ajax, died December 28, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. Born February 1, 1911, also in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Morrison of Atlanta and Orlando, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred W. Ajax, a long-time professor at and administration member of Georgia Institute of Technology. Mrs. Ajax attended high school at Georgetown Visitation Convent in Washington, D.C., and thereafter graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, where she was valedictorian of her class and captain of the basketball team. She is survived by her son, Fred W. Ajax, Jr., and three grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Ajax of Columbia, South Carolina, Amenda Blake Ajax of Atlanta and Joanna Louise Myron and her husband, Ted, of Atlanta. A long-time parishioner of the Cathedral of Christ the King, she was also a member of a number of religious organizations and societies. A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Ajax will be celebrated by the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Kenny at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Road, on Saturday, January 1, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with interment thereafter at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at the Cathedral before the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cathedral in her memory. Arrangements by H.M.
