Clarence Eugene "Gene" Allbritton Jr., 67, of Fayetteville passed away January 9, 2007. Gene was a member of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, Riverdale Masonic Lodge #709 F&AM and the Scottish Rite. He was a veteran and served 26 years active, reserve, and auxiliary U.S. Air Force. He retired from Eastern Airlines after 25 years of service. Gene enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, farming, golf and camping. Gene was preceded in death by sons, Britt and Matthew Allbritton; Parents, C. E. Allbritton Sr. and Mattie H. Allbritton. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane; Daughters, Melissa Wilson; Cathy and Dan Graham; Sisters, Gail & William Quattlebaum of Carrollton; Judy and Ed Joyner of Jackson; Tara Allbritton & James of Gadsden, Ala.; Mother-in-Law, Mrs. Mildred Moeller of Seymour, WI.; Brothers and Sisters-in Law; Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday January 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church (Riverdale) with The Rev. Jeffrey M. Halenza officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, with Riverdale Masonic Lodge in charge of graveside services. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 Bradford Square, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214 or Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, 2165 Hwy 138, Riverdale, Ga. 30296.
