Family-Placed Death Notice
KNOUSE, Dale Dale Robert Knouse (Bob) passed away on February 28, 2013, at North Fulton Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1938, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Dale and Eleanor Knouse. Bob graduated from Ohio State University where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Following graduation, Bob joined the Navy and served for three years. His major employer was IBM. A highlight of his IBM career was a three year assignment in Italy. Bob was a member of the Roswell Presbyterian Church. Going to Cardiac Rehab at North Fulton Hospital was one of his favorite activities because of his close friendships within the group. Bob's quick wit and unique sense of humor endeared him to others. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ellen Knouse; his daughter, Mindy Brems; his son, Rob Knouse; his stepchildren, Ron Cantrell and Karen LeCates; three grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, and John Brems; four step grandchildren, Lee and Chris Cantrell and Jenna and Chloe LeCates. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Mangels and Becky Campbell. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at Roswell Presbyterian Church, 755 Mimosa Boulevard in Roswell. Friends may visit with family members from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5th, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to North Fulton Community Charities.
