Delores Faye HARRISON Obituary
HARRISON, Delores Faye Mrs. Delores Faye Harrison, 69, of Senoia, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Mrs. Harrison was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Riddle Marchman. A resident of Coweta County since 1987, she retired from Ford Motor Credit after 23 years of service and then was employed by the Fayette County Zoning Department for five years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Newnan, where she had taught Sunday School. Survived by her husband, Daniel Harrison, Senoia; daughter, Jennifer and Roger Scoggin, Griffin; sons, Steve and Kim Akin, Moreland, David Akin, Senoia; step-daughter, Kelly and Craig Couvillion, Sharpsburg; step-sons, Jamie and Terra Harrison, Stockbridge, Joshua Harrison, Griffin; sister, Barbara Smith, Grantville; brothers, Robert and Cathy Marchman, East Point, Larry and Beverly Marchman, McDonough; 8 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Matthew Bugg and sister, Donna Shaw. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, in the Chapel of McKibben Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Rhodes Skinner officiating; interment, Westview Cemetery, Atlanta at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, at McKibben Funeral Home, Hogansville. www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com.
