Family-Placed Death Notice
SNIPES, Felix REV. FELIX EARL SNIPES Rev. Felix Earl Snipes, born December 20, 1933, entered into the eternal presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 11, 2010. He is at home. He lived and has finished his life well. Rev. Snipes served fifty-nine years in full-time ministry combining message, music and magic. He had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta for 47 years. His life will be remembered and celebrated by his friends and family. Rev. Snipes is survived by his wife, Patsy; son and daughter-in-law, Larri and Amy Snipes; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Frank Vogel; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Ashley Snipes; eight grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. A celebration of his life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta on Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation of friends and loved ones will be held at 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Visitors Center of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to New Dimensions Evangelism or Atlanta Passion Play. A. S. Turner & Sons

Felix was a good friend of my father, Daane Etheridge. I recently found a book Gods Promises he gave to my father Christmas 1997, the last Christmas my father spent on this earth. I just saw this Obituary on Felix. I know he had a great ministry and was very kind to my father. God Bless. Ted Etheridge

Since I am in Arizona I just found out about his passing. It truly saddens me at the loss as he was a most wonderful man and friend in Magic. May the Lord bless his family as time goes on.

Patsy and Children, Felix was such a good friend and servant of God. We send our deepest sympathy to you all. Felix has left a wonderful legacy to his children and grandchildren and we all have wonderful memories of this Godly man. Our prayers are with you. Dr. Don and Marilyn Parkerson

Saddened to hear that Evangelsit Felix Snipes, passed from us, but rejoice to know that he is present with our LORD. Bro. Snipes was instrumental in leading many to Christ through his gifts of preaching, singing and unique "magic filled" Wonder-Full Weekends! Was privileged to know him and have him at one of my churches. A true Christian Gentleman who loved Jesus and souls. Well done thou good and faithful servant.
