BEDWELL, Glenda Carol Glenda Carol Bedwell, age 72, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Miss Bedwell was born on August 21, 1941 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Sally Bedwell and Orvin Bedwell. She is survived by her sister, Dee Bedwell of Marietta, Georgia and close family friend Victoria Woods of Sharpsburg, Georgia. Miss Bedwell was a 1959 graduate of Cedartown High School and also attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, later Georgia College and State University. Her career started in Atlanta at USS Agri Chem where she was a secretary for many years. She later worked for accounting firms both in Atlanta and Cedartown. Her final and happiest job association was working in adminstration at Goldkist in Atlanta where she took her retirement in 2006. Along her career path, Miss Bedwell made many friends who today grieve with her family at her passing. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home in Cedartown, Ga. with The Reverend Roger Kiser officating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. The following have been asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Wayne Beck, Ben Parris, Lloyd Gray, Tim Meeks, Billy Haney, Kermit Landrum, Paul Dempsey and John David Jolly.
