Jack HOROWITZ Obituary
HOROWITZ, Jack Marvin Jack Marvin Horowitz, age 83, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 9, 2016, in his sleep. He was born on May 17, 1933 in Atlanta, where he spent his entire life. He graduated from Grady High School and earned a degree in business management from Emory University. Jack was a very successful stock broker-investor and spent his entire career at the same firm. He was the son of the late Dora and Louis Horowitz and brother to the late Eleanore Teichman. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra Roth Horowitz of Mobile, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Eileen Horowitz of Marietta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Dana Horowitz and Avram Kluger of Ann Arbor, MI; four grandchildren: Alex Horowitz, and Dalit, Hadas and Elan Kluger; sister, Charlotte Held of Sarasota, FL; sister-in-law, Lois Berch of Atlanta; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and incredible friends. Jack will be best remembered as a wonderful family man and for his big heart. A sweet and very giving man, he loved being a zayde and reaching out to those in need. His family extends special gratitude to Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for their wonderful care and service over the past two years. Sign online guestbook at www.edressler.com. A celebration of Jack's life will be held Friday November 11 as a 1:30 PM graveside service at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, in the Beth Jacob section, led by Rabbi Menachem Goldberger and Rabbi Ilan Feldman.
