Family-Placed Death Notice
HILL, Jim 1945-2013 Jim (not James) Hill, born 27 June, 1945 passed away after a short illness. Jim is mourned by his many friends and relatives in Pensacola and Atlanta. He had an exemplary career as a corporate pilot for Waffle House and with Epps Aviation. Jim had no trouble making friends wherever he went, he loved people. When he retired to Pensacola he became active in many social organizations to include the Elks club, the Eagles Club and the American Legion. He was also very active in the Krewe of Wrecks serving as Captain in 2012. He enjoyed golf, sailing and the company of his many friends. Jim is survived by his wife Christine "Chrissie"; his brother, Louis; and sons, Adam (Tonja) and James; grandsons, Morgan and Ian. Always determined to do it his way until the end....the Bull will be missed.

Jim and I Were in the U S Air force together. We were in Eufaula, Ala. at 609th Radar SQ. We use to ride in His 71 VW Beetle. He always wanted to fly Helicoptors, Later He Flew for Waffle House and Joe Rogers. He was a lot of Fun and Likeable. We would ride to Athens, Ga. over the Weekend. The Bull will be missed, I was called Sammy the Bull".
