Family-Placed Death Notice

SULLIVAN, Joseph Mr. Joseph Harris "Jo Jo" Sullivan, 21, of Buckhead, GA died April 30, 2011. Jo Jo was born December 20, 1989 in Decatur, GA to his parents who survive him Jim Sullivan and Allison Wallace Nichols. He was an accomplished Professional Bull Rider and traveled all over the United States competing. Jo Jo won numerous awards including Georgia High School State Championship in 2005, he was Rookie of the year in 2007, qualified and went to Las Vegas were he rode in the World Finals for CBR in 2008. He also rode in the PBR, Professional Bull Riders Association and in 2010 was the Region Champion for the ABR American Bull Riders Association. Jo Jo was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Leonard Sullivan who was very proud of him. Jo Jo is survived by his Father, Jim Sullivan and Gloria Horne of Buckhead, GA his Mother Allison and Dan Nichols of Conyers, GA his Girlfriend Kaitlin Driscoll of Mooresville, NC; Brothers, Jimbo and John Sullivan both of Cookeville, TN his Paternal Grandmother, Billie Ann Sullivan, of Thunderbolt, GA, Maternal Grandmother Kathie O. Goodwin of Orangeburg, SC, Maternal Grandfather James H. and Kim Wallace of Lithonia, GA. Jo Jo is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Extended Family and Close Friends. Funeral services for Jo Jo will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Chapel of Harwell Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will be held at Swords Community Cemetery in the Swords Community of Morgan County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Resistol Relief Fund for Injured Cowboy's, 101 West Riverwalk Pueblo, CO 81003.
