Mary Sue SHULTZ Obituary
SHULTZ, Mary Sue Mary Sue "Susie" Shultz passed away on October 21, 2016, one day before her 83rd birthday. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas to Preston Robert and Evelyn Eugenia Ogletree, and she graduated from Pascal High School in Fort Worth. She worked at Fort Worth National Bank and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Susie married Donald Max Shultz in 1953, and they were married for 61 years. She supported her husband in his career with Ford Motor Company and their many moves around the country and to Germany. She and her husband loved serving in their church, and she was known for her deep faith, creative hospitality, delightful personality, and infectious sense of humor. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Camie Fetz and husband, John, of Atlanta, GA; Brad Shultz of Cedar Park, TX; Todd Shultz and wife, Karen, of Lawrenceville, GA; five cherished grandchildren, Ryan Fetz and wife, Sarah; Ansley Fetz; and Anna Marissa Fetz, all of the Atlanta area; Daniel Shultz of Foshan, China; and U.S. Marine Jon Marc Shultz of Camp Lejeune, NC; three wonderful great-grandsons Jacob, David, and Samuel Fetz. She has a number of treasured nieces and nephews as well. In addition to her beloved husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Howard Eugene "Sam" Ogletree. A memorial celebration will be held at noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at North Atlanta Church of Christ, 5676 Roberts Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338. The family will receive friends at 11 am in the church foyer. Also, there will be a reception immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to North Atlanta Church of Christ (nacofc.org/welcome/online-giving) or the (http://m.alz.org/donate.asp). Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors.
