Ollie Breman Wilson Jr. Obituary
WILSON Jr., Ollie Ollie Breman Wilson, Jr. 84, of Newnan passed away on October 25, 2016. He was born on March 5, 1932 in Spalding County, GA to Effie Mae and Ollie Breman Wilson, Sr. and was the oldest of four children. Ollie married Annie Ruth Bartlett on September 26, 1952 and just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He was known and called "Junior" as a child and called that for many years by family and close friends. Ollie was an inventor, business entrepreneur in Packaging materials and Plastics Extrusion Businesses: All-Pak with a partner, bought out in 1972, incorporated as Star Packaging Corp as sole business owner; Flex-On, Inc. and Custom Co-Ex with partner David Johnson, sold in 1988; Tara Plastics, StarFlex Corporation, a machinery division, started to supply chicken packaging machines that Ollie invented. All his businesses were started in partnership with Annie Ruth who spent a lot of time in the early years working and managing the office, as well as shipping and mailing machine parts. Annie Ruth was in charge of all shipping, from their house in Riverdale for All-Pak until a building was rented in Riverdale where the business was moved to in the late 1960's. Ollie loved to fish and play golf. We're sure there were many business deals made on the golf course! Ollie & Annie Ruth fished as a team in several Guys and Dolls Fishing Tournaments, winning a tournament in 1994 catapulting them to the Fall Classic competition. In fact, they placed high enough in the tournaments that they were able to fish in three of the Classic competitions, placing 3rd and 6th in two of them. Another successful venture for the Ollie/Annie Ruth team! Ollie was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son, Baby Wilson. He is survived by his wife; four children, Joyce Wilson Long (Mike) of Fayetteville; Michael "Mike" Wilson (Gail) of Newnan, Janice "Jan" Wilson Eidson (Chandler) of Senoia; and Nancy Wilson Chaffin (Ron) of Newnan; siblings, Hilda Lucille Bellew of Luthersville; John Thomas Wilson (Sharon) of Senoia; James Allen Wilson (Jan) of Riverdale; eight grandchildren, David M. Long, Jason A. Long, Mark B. Wilson, Michelle Walston, Chandler D. Eidson, Jr., Lane Hale, Justin Hale and Christina Howell; and twelve great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Chaplain Gary Clark officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Carl J.
