Steven ALBREGTS Obituary
ALBREGTS, Steven STEVEN VINCENT ALBREGTS "SKIPPY" Steven "Skippy" Vincent Albregts passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. A Civil War buff who loved reading, history, sports, fishing, bowling, playing cards, and the St. Louis Cardinals, his quick wit and down-to-earth presence will be sorely missed by those he left behind. He is survived by his wife, Karen Loverde Albregts of Dunwoody, GA, and former spouse Sheila Jenkinson of Troy, MO; his five children, Jason Albregts and wife Becky of Elsberry, MO, Joshua Albregts and wife Kelly of Troy, MO, Justin Albregts of Troy, MO, and Cecilia Albregts and Steven Albregts of Dunwoody, GA; his grandchildren, Alisha (and great-granddaughter McKenna), Dylan, Jude, and Hannah; his parents, Maude and Cecil Albregts; and his siblings, Shari and husband Tom Noe, Susanne and husband Henry Orf, and Scott Albregts and wife Wendy, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Atlanta-based friends and family on Thursday, March 6, at Arlington Memorial Park Chapel, 201 Mt. Vernon Highway NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Visitors are welcome starting at 2:00pm, with a service following at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Civil War Trust (www.civilwar.org), an organization dedicated to saving America's Civil War battlefields.
