Obituary Condolences

THOMPSON, Ralph THOMPSON, Ralph "Buck", 83, currently of Snellville, GA, formerly of Brookhaven, passed peacefully in his sleep on February 7, 2014. Ralph was born in Swainsboro, Georgia on August 9, 1930 to George and Shellie Thompson. Ralph and his wife Betty "Sue" Thompson were married 64 years and had two children, Jerry Thompson of Norwood and Joy Thompson Pardee of Snellville. Ralph, a retired Kraft Foods employee, lived a full life, devoted to his family and known for his ability to fix just about anything. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband and father, devoted grandfather, a caring brother, and cherished friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, grandson Jeremy Thompson, and son-in-law Philip Pardee. He is survived by, children Jerry (Jeryl) and Joy, sisters Betty (Jack), Imogene, sisters-in-law Dottie and Ann, brothers-in-law Harold (Betty) and Edward; grandchildren Joel (Carson), Jon (Stacy), Josh, David, Katie and Cody; great grandchildren Paxton, Kooper and Wallis; embraced "daughter" Carol Turner; countless nieces and nephews. Though he will be sorely missed, we know that he is resting in heaven, and reunited with his beloved wife. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Amanda and Kianna, his caregivers for their indispensable help. Funeral will be held at the chapel in the Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Snellville on Sunday, February 9th at 2:30pm. Interment will be 4:00 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA.
