FLOYD, Sr., Kermit Milton Kermit Milton Floyd, Sr. age 85, of Austell passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born in Troup County to Henry Bennett Floyd, Sr. and Hattie Myrtle Irvin Floyd on October 18, 1928. He retired from the Federal Government, the Food and Drug Administration as a Supervisor Chemist after 35 years of service. He served 4 years in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife JoAnn W. Floyd of Austell; three children, Freda Floyd Cornelius, Kermit Floyd, Jr., Deidra Floyd Davidson; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8, with funeral services Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2pm at White Columns Funeral Chapel in Mableton. Entombment to follow at Georgia Memorial Park.
