BRUNS, Paul J. PAUL J. BRUNS Paul J. Bruns died Thursday, April 10, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, April 16 at St. Brendans Catholic Church in Cumming. Paul was a beloved husband and father. He lived in Cumming, Ga. with his loving wife, Sandra. Born in Chicago, IL. on Jan. 8, 1931. Paul graduated from De Paul University. He served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from U.S. Steel. Among his many hobbies were golf, where he had three hole in ones. He was also a renowned oil painter. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Johnston Bruns of Cumming; two sons, Michael Bruns and his wife, Mary of Lafayette, LA, Jeff Bruns and his wife, Amy of Mason Ohio; two daughters, Debbie Sankovitz of Portland, OR, Dana Bruns of Huntington Beach, CA; one brother, Raymond Bruns and his wife, Judy of Oro Valley, AZ; one sister, Marie Palczynski and her husband, Leon of Buford, GA; six grandchildren; nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his young son, Barry Bruns and two brothers, Bill and Francis Bruns. Contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund at 72 Edgewood Ave. N.E. Atlanta, Ga. 30303, 404-658-1420.
