Michael GIUGLIANO Obituary
GIUGLIANO, Michael Michael Joseph Giugliano was born July 24, 1958 in Huntington, New York to loving and devoted parents Ralph and Carolyn Giugliano. He was married to and is very much loved by Pamela M. Boyd Giugliano for nearly 26 years. Retired Lieutenant Michael Giugliano was employed by the City of Atlanta Police Department for over 25 years. During this 25 year plus career, Mike worked his way up the ranks and eventually earned the appointment to the Rank of Captain. He served in various specialty assignments such as REDDOG, Gun Unit, Intelligence Unit, Homeland Security, and the Fulton County Burglary Task Force, to name but a few. Mike will always be remembered as an Officer's Supervisor for his leadership and hands on involvement. He set the highest standards of INTEGRITY and will always be remembered for his honesty and sincerity. For those of us he called FRIENDS, we became brothers, with an unconditional trust and admiration. Giugliano was a licensed gun dealer. As a gun enthusiast, his passion was designing guns and weaponry. He proudly used the slogan "For Professionals by Professionals." Michael passed from this world to be with God on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014. Michael J. Giugliano leaves to cherish his everlasting memories a devoted wife Pamela Boyd Giugliano; daughter, Nichole & husband Tim Peterman; son, Ryan Giugliano & wife Lauren; daughter, Lyndsae Giugliano; grandchildren, Kaelynn, Alex and Gabe; sister, Donna Milazzo; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews; many, many, friends and all the officers he served with in the Atlanta Police Department, who were just as close as any family member could be.
