ARNOLD, Jr., James C. JAMES C. "BUDDY" ARNOLD, JR. James C. "Buddy" Arnold, Jr., US Navy Retired, of Powder Springs, died Thursday, June 26, 2014. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory, Macland Chapel, in Powder Springs. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Jim (Buddy) Arnold was born June 18, 1934. He went on to receive his reward in heaven and to be with his Lord and Savior on June 26, 2014. Buddy served in the United States Navy for 30 years. He has been a member of the First Christian Church of Mableton. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janelle Arnold, daughters, Jan Stephenson (Bobby) of Villa Rica, Christi Byers (Kevin) of Lithia Springs, sons, Tom (Terri) of Powder Springs, and Scott of Powder Springs. Nine grandchildren (two spouses) four great grandchildren, and triplets due in November to his granddaughter Michele. He also leaves behind two sister-in-laws, Barbara McEachern of Jackson and Ginger Moore (Don) of Douglasville, brother-in-law, Vernon Fowler of Douglasville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Mableton - Building Fund, or to a . The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, and 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory, Macland Chapel, in Powder Springs.
