Family-Placed Death Notice
Mamie Inez Ramey, age 83, of Conyers, died on Friday, August 11, 2006. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 15 at Horis A. Ward's Old Towne Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Barrett, officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Walton County, Mamie was a wonderful Homemaker and mother who took pride in her gardening and cooking. She is survived by sons, James A. Ramey of Conyers, Homer E. and Debi Ramey, Jr. of Covington; daugther, Elaine and Neal Day of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Kale Ramey, Toni Gilbert, Nicholas Ramey; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Olde Town Chapel, 770-483-7208.
