Family-Placed Death Notice
GILL, Bobbie Entered into rest Thursday, January 8th, 2009, Mrs. Bobbie Gill, 85, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Raymond Otto Gill and daughter of the late Beverly Calhoun and Agnes Corinne Noland Young. Born in Atlanta, GA, she was a graduate of Russell High School. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of East Point, GA, prior to making Aiken County her home ten years ago. Mrs. Gill was a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church and prior to her health declining she was an avid reader and bridge player. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Glass, North Augusta, SC and Sandra Curran, Burke, VA; siblings, Evelyn Stone, Marietta, GA and Earle Baker, Fayetteville, GA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a committal service will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. The family has asked that memorials be made to the American Lung Association. Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, U.S. Hwy. #1, Langley, SC.
