Family-Placed Death Notice

WALLER, Paul F., Jr. Mr. Paul F. Waller, Jr., age 86, of Union City, passed away January 7, 2010. He was a loving husband and father and a longtime member of Mt. Olive Christian Church and Southwest Christian Church where he served as a deacon at both. Mr. Waller honorably served our country in World War II as a Pfc in the 147th Army Corps of Engineers, training at several locations stateside then southern England for the Allied Invasion, in which he was a participant at Omaha Beach. He got great pleasure in the last two decades going to reunions and seeing Army buddies. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Waller, also of Union City; son, Ken Waller and his wife Liz, of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Thomas and Anna Waller, as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 3 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. James (Jim) Donovan and Minister Carl Ryden officiating. Inurnment will be in a private ceremony at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing may send an online condolence to www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
