CLARK, Jean Mrs. Jean Bailey Clark June 19, 1952 - April 10, 2010 Mrs. Jean Bailey Clark, age 57, of Griffin passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Clark was born on June 19, 1952 in Griffin, GA to the late Adolphus Bowden Bailey and Janet Battle Bailey. Mrs. Clark was presently employed by APS Healthcare of Atlanta as a Trainer-Auditor. She was a Licensed Counselor. She also retired from Bellsouth after 30 years of exemplary service where she held many positions with increasing levels of responsibility. Mrs. Clark earned two Master's Degrees, one from Mercer University and another from Georgia School of Professional Physiology. She was a board member of the Griffin Spalding Hospital Authority and had held board positions at Grace Academy and the Airport Authority of Griffin. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, John F. Clark of Griffin; children, Traci Clark of Atlanta, Chris Clark of Buffalo, NY, and Tripp (Glenda) Clark of Brooks; grandchildren, Shane, Adam, and Kevin Clark of Griffin; her mother, Janet Battle Bailey ; sisters and brother-in-laws, Beckie and Bill Morris of Griffin, Vicki and Eric Watts of Alpharetta, GA; mother-in-law, Lurline Clark of Griffin; sisters-in-law, Glenda (Ed) Oakley and Carol (Barry) Byers; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Clark will be conducted on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend John Nance will officiate. Entombment will follow in Westwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
