April 23, 2010

Doc Theresa,
May you continue to be comforted in the love of our Father in the loss of your only daughter, Nicole. As you stated at your home on the morning of your loss.."like Rachel for her children, you refuse to be comforted", but also in your grief you said you "refuse to curse God..you need Him to get you through--there is no other way"!...What a great testament to all those there...mourning with those that mourn. May the comfort and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you, Micheal, Gerami, and the rest of the family and all those who loved Nicole. Your precious grandbaby, who if she could see the pictures of all the love shown her & her mom at the Baby Shower before she was even born... only a few months ago. They will be treasured by her. She is so precious. Know You all are in my prayers during your time of sorrow.
Your Friend and neighbor,

I didn't know Ms. Adderley, but I passed by this accident on my way to work. I said a prayer for her, but later found out that she did not survive the accident. I've since read a story about her work at Jesse's House and all the comments indicate she was a wonderful person. Just want to send my sympathies to Ms. Adderley's family and friends and all of those people who's lives she may have impacted.

People always come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for a reason, you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilleed; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME, relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being part of my life.....

To the Adderley Family my heart and prayers are with you. I thank God for allowing us all the opportunity to love and know her. She will be missed dearly. Until we meet again........

Please accept my sincere condolences, and know that my thoughts and prayers are extended to all of Nicole’s family and friends.
Nicole will be truly missed by everyone who knew her, no matter where they crossed her path in life.
Nicole was more than just a wonderful person; she was kind, considerate, and always there to lend a helping hand. Although I only worked with Nicole on a few occasions over these past few months, I was truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work by her side. Her friendly smile and sense of humor were often a bright spot in my day.
