JORDAN, Thomas THOMAS L. JORDAN Thomas L. Jordan died Monday, July 26 after complications from a brain biopsy. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Nancy Pratt Jordan, son Thos Jordan, Jr, daughter Catherine J. Bourn and her husband Steve. Grandchildren Nick and Samantha Jordan, Ansley and Jordan Bourn. He grew up in Bishopville, S.C., where he lettered in 4 sports. He received an athletic scholarship to Presbyterian College in track and football. While there he set several track records (including the 100 yard dash) and was known as "The fastest man in South Carolina". He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Blue Key Club, Outstanding Student and L.T. Commander of the ROTC. After graduation he married Nancy and served as a Lt. in the U.S. Army for 4 years where he flew L 19s in Alaska and was honorably discharged. He was in sales for several years, then V.P. of Marketing for Wells Fargo. Tommy retired from BFI where he worked in acquisitions for the company. His moral compass served him well in business and family life. He was an honorable man who put his family first and will be dearly missed. A memorial service honoring Tommy's life will be held Monday, August 2 at 11:00am at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hmpattersoncantonhill.com
