I never had the honor of meeting Otis, really wish I had. But, if as was said by so many of his family and friends at his funeral service, Chris is the image of his father - well, then Otis was a great man. Because Chris is one of the finest young men I know. Rest in peace, Otis. May God bless you and your family.

My sincere condolences to the Grant family. I am still in shock to find out about Otis' passing. Otis and I were great friends at Michigan State living in E Wilson Hall. His warm personality and beautiful smile will never be forgotten. I lived in Southern Cal while Otis played for the Rams and he never let his fame change who he was. We lost touch over the years but I shall always to thankful for his friendship. RIP #83!

To the Grant Family -- I know that I speak for my siblings and many others who, like me, were your neighbors back in Cascade. We want to share our deep sympathies with you on the loss of your loved one. Actually, "Clifford" was one of us, too. I was shocked to see the notice of his death. Even though we lost touch after high school, the years that we spent together left us with memories that would join us for life and, sadly, in death.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are extended to support you through this tough time.

Uncle Clifford,
Who knew last month would be last time I would see you. I enjoyed myself so much that day because you were there. You had me laughing the WHOLE day, from the induction to the birthday party. It's unreal that I lost my dad seven months ago and now you. I'm a little numb right now. I don't even know how I should feel right now. I love you and miss you. I pray that you are at peace now.

Love,
Your niece.
