Alvin Waddell Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mr. Alvin Franklin "Buck" Waddell of Atlanta passed away September 19, 2005. Born on November 1, 1914 in Haralson County, son of the late Charlie and Effie Gober Waddell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII, a retired City of Atlanta employee, and member of the Yorkville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, Richard Waddell, Columbus Waddell, Sr., Albert Waddell, and Stanley Waddell; 1 grandson, Robert W. Keith, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bennie Mae Gore Waddell; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean & Robert Keith of the Netherlands; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Danser of VA, and Mrs. Effie Duncan of CA; a grandson, Mr. Brad Keith and his wife Christina of FL; 4 great grandchildren, Ian, Jeremy, Lauren, & Morgan. Funeral services will be held on Thurs., Sept. 22nd at 2PM in the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Yorkville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral services for Mr. Alvin Franklin "Buck" Waddell.
