Dr. Sova was a great guy. I worked with him at EPA and socialize at lunches with he and my dear friend Bea Evans. I loved the way he over dramatized my name and my friends would imitate his pronunciation because they liked it also. His diminished hearing often times made it difficult to communicate by phone, but on rate occasions we did so. I am just learning of his death and it affects me deeply. I will miss his excitement about life.

Dr.Sova was a good person, honest, loyal and genuine. I worked with him at EPA and lunched with he and Beatrice Evans on many occasions. I loved the way he greeted me with such warmth and fondness. He was great.

Carl was a true scholar and gentleman at all times, and a loyal friend for all these years. We shared many good times and he was always there with friendly encouragement. He will be missed by many far and wide. Our sincere sympathy to his dear sisters and family , who he always spoke of so fondly.

I will always fondly remember our family's visits with Carl. He was a man of great kindness, unfailing politeness and a gentleman in every respect. He had an uncomplicated warmth that fairly radiated from him, and he will be missed.

Carl was such a good friend to our family. He helped my mom raise me until we moved away. I'll never forget riding in his green mustang every where we went. Once I put a sticker of a shark on the front of the dash board and he never took it off. He was one of my wonderful angels God sent to me. You'll always be a part of me.
