BOVELAND, Cynthia CYNTHIA A. BOVELAND Mrs. Cynthia A. Boveland, wife of Mr. Gerald Boveland and beloved sister of Bishop Wiley Jackson, Senior Pastor of Gospel Tabernacle, entered eternal rest on September 3, 2011. Celebration of life service will be Thursday, September 8, 2011; 12 NOON; Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral, 277 Clifton St. SW, Atlanta, GA with Bishop Wiley Jackson, pastor officiating. Interment Kennedy Memorial. Remains in state 11:00 AM. Family and friends assemble 11:30 AM at the church. Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories Mr. Gerald Boveland, her husband of 30 years; her daughter Charis, and son Jerahmeel. Her father, Wiley "Chief" Jackson, Sr., preceded Cynthia in death in 2004. She also leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mrs. Bobbie Lois Jackson; three brothers, Bishop Wiley Jackson (First Lady Mary), Dr. Rodney B. Jackson, and Mr. Jerrick Jackson; one sister, Ms. Beverly Abrams; cousin, Mrs. Judy (Michael) Griggs; one mother-in-law, Mrs. Alberta Toups Boveland; nieces and nephews include Taji, Joshua, Terry, Joi, Bobbie, Jonathan, Wiley III and Paul. There are a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. The viewing for Cynthia will be TODAY, September 7th from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral; the Wake will be held from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral.
