TINGLEY, Albert Albert "Burt" Tingley, 75, of Oxford, GA, passed away on November 30, 2011, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Burt was married to Joyce Vaughn Tingley for 30 years and was a long-time resident of the Atlanta area where he graduated from Murphy High School in 1954. As many would say, Burt never met a stranger, mostly because of his over 50 years of working in the trucking business with Mack Trucks, Freightliner Trucking and Trucks for Less. He is survived by his children, Burt Tingley, Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA and Tina Tingley of Chiefland, FL; sisters and brother-in-laws, Margaret and Renea Cervo, of Canberra, Australia, Brenda and Mitch Mitchell of Jonesboro, GA and Dixie Shapiro of Gainesville, GA; brother and sister-in-laws, John and Vicki Hennecy of Lawrenceville, GA, Randy and Donna Vaughn of Smyrna, GA, and niece and her husband, Kirk and Kristie Martin of Dacula, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Etta Porter Tingley of Atlanta, GA; sister, Millie Harper of Marietta, GA and brother, Bill Tingley of Atlanta, GA. A Funeral Service Celebrating the Life of Burt Tingley will be held Saturday, December 3rd at 3:30 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Minister Harold Savage officiating.
