As a teenager at Westminter Church in the late 90s, I watched Dr. Wehr's house and his dog Tipper when he and his wife traveled. Dr. Wehr was a kind, funny man.

I am sad to hear of his passing and offer my condolensces to Sally and the Wehr family.

Wehrs:

"Coach" always had a smile and a great attitude about everything. I still remember the first time I met him. He pulled into the Druid Hills parking lot on his motorcycle to interview me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sally, I was sad to learn from you this morning about Dick. We will all remember him so fondly. I passed the news on to our daughter...he was always so supportive of her in her young athletic endeavors. He was a kind man.
Know that we are thinking of you, and sending you our support.

Dick was a true joy to be around. I'll always remember the many afternoons sitting on Dick and Sally's swing on Saxon Place with other neighbors with Dick as the perfect and fun host. Thinking, too, about the great times at Mountain Lakes. So many wonderful memories. Knowing Dick has been a blessing!
