Today I decided to search for her. I have been trying to find her for years. I'm so saddened by having to find her on here. She was my third grade teacher at Minnie S. Howell. I hoped to be able to speak with her and thank her for being such a wonderful teacher. Mrs. Batts was my favorite teacher. I will never forget her. One memory that I've always remembered is that she taught my class how to make strawberry jam. Absolutely adored her! R.I.P Mrs.Batts ❤❤❤

Dear Jackie, Jac and Michelle,

I wished I could fly right away to comfort you in person in this rough time.
Janice was like a mother to me and I always knew and felt that she was supporting and watching me during my times in the US and while away. Her passing will truly leave void in my life and I will miss her tremendously. I will always know though that she will be watching me now from above.
You have my, Dato's and all my family's condolences. May God comfort you in this time of bereavement. All of us are joining you in rejoicing and celebrating Janice's life that was full of grace, kindness, beauty, taste for so many wonderful things and generosity.
Take care and I love you all full heartedly.
Always yours,

Ani
