Please know of my prayers and condolences for your family at this time. We lost Tom's Ph.D. Chemical engineering Dad just 3 months ago as well. He was also 89 and worked In Oak Ridge, TN for a time. They must need engineers in heaven right now. He sounded like a wonderful man who will be sorely missed.

Dear Dr. Pendergrast and family,
I was deeply moved by reading your father's obituary. What a truly rich and full life your father led. I take some comfort in thinking that he has already found a few new books to read. All the best to your family.
