Family-Placed Death Notice

Jacqueline Shadrix Weagle, 66, of Douglasville, Georgia died December 10, 2005. She is survived by her husband and 39 years, Melvin Charles (Mal) Weagle, Jr. of Douglasville; her mother, Lois Shadrix of Villa Rica; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Paul Scola of Glouchester, Massachusetts; sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Pam Weagle III of Douglasville; and David and Georgia Weagle of Tyrone, GA; sister, Patricia (Patty) Ariail of Villa Rica; brothers, Gerald Shadrix of Villa Rica, Ollie Shadrix of Hiram, Carl Shadrix of Temple, Wendell Shadrix, Jerry Shadrix and Gary Shadrix, all of Villa Rica, and Terry Shadrix of Temple; eleven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 with Father Richard Tibbetts officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Carrollton, GA. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 12, 2005 at J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home, 1011 Topaz Lane, Villa Rica. 770-459-3676.
