Mike: I thought all week that I would contact you and your family to let you know that I was thinking of you and hoping that all is going as well as can be expected without the love of your life. I'm sure that others have been remembering Kim as well. A year has flown past, but it has not stopped the thoughts from flooding my mind.

Words cannot adequately describe my long-time friend, and my thoughts and prayers go out to Mike, John and Elizabeth, and to the Warden and Rary families. During the almost 30 years of our friendship, I admired her many accomplishments, energy, smile and upbeat attitude. Kim was my mentor when I was a third year law student practicing under the third year practice act. It was during her last year at the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. She was the first attorney that I met that I wanted to emulate. She was a marvelous teacher and a great example for a young lawyer. My sympathies to her family at the loss of such a treasure.
