MAYO, III, Rev. Jimmie Rev. James (Jimmie) Mayo, III, age 77 of Covington, died Monday, October 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Jimmie and Madge Mayo; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Jerry Bray. He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Mayo, Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Sharon Mayo, IV, Conyers; daughter and son-in-law, Starla and Tony Evans, Macon; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Sam and Jeanne Mayo, Snellville; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Dave McNeilly, Duluth; grandchildren, Jimmie Mayo, V, Brittany Mayo, Jamey Mayo Evans, Josiah Evans; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration Service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at The Tabernacle, 1580 Agape Way, Decatur, GA with Pastor Dennis Lacy and Pastor Tim Hogg officiating; interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge.
