Family-Placed Death Notice

GALARDI, Jack JACK EDWARD GALARDI Jack Edward Galardi, known respectfully and fondly as "Mr. G", passed away peacefully at his Georgia ranch Saturday, December 1, 2012 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was the founder and sole owner of Galardi South Enterprises in the southern states and Galardi Enterprises in the western United States. Born in Trinidad, Colorado he served as a submariner in the Navy before beginning his business empire of nightclubs, restaurants, stores and other diversified businesses. Famous for his nightclubs and entertainment venues, often used by celebrities for private parties, and his "larger than life" 4th of July parties he hosted at his ranch for his employees and all the locals. A self-made entrepreneur who built his multi-state corporation from a small bar in California to a giant business presence in both Las Vegas and the Atlanta/Miami areas, he is widely respected for his business acumen and generosity, both public and personal. He was a man who took great joy in helping others and fostering other small business people. He is survived by his daughters, Teri (Porter), Jackie (Torres), Kathy (Holder) and son, Jack, Jr., eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection for Jack Galardi will be held Saturday, December 8th at Noon at St. Mary's Mother of God Catholic Church in Jackson, GA immediately followed by interment services at his home, the Circle G. Ranch.
