HOLMES, Bobbie Glen Bobbie Glen Holmes of Monroe, GA passed away Friday March 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born on February 13, 1935 in Wrayswood, GA to Clem and Mary Nela Pugh Holmes. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War and was a retired Bus Driver from Southeastern Stages Bus Company. He was a member of the Glenwood Hills Masonic Lodge #703. Mr. Holmes is survived by his sons Jeffrey Glen Holmes and Bobby Dale Holmes both Monroe, GA; daughter-in-law June Holmes of Good Hope, Ga; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law Adrain and Larry Capes of Covington, Ga, Jeanette Ellington of Oxford, Ga, Diane and Sidney Regain of Conyers, Ga, Faye and Ronald Johnson of Covington, Ga; sister-in-law Mary Kate Holmes of Newborn, Ga.. He is preceded in death by his wife Sarah Louise Bruce Holmes, son James Lee Holmes, parents Clem and Mary Nela Pugh Holmes, brothers Jerry Holmes and Melvin Holmes, sister Ruby Ellis. Family and friends are invited to a wake in his memory at his residence at 913 Anna Marie Lane, Monroe, Ga. from 3:00-6:00 PM on Saturday March 9, 2013. In lieu of flowers his family request that donations be made to the COPD Foundation at 2937 SW 27th Ave, Suite 302, Miami, FL, 33133.
