DODD, Larry Larry S. Dodd, age 93, of Fayetteville, GA passed away July 5, 2013. He was born to the late Ira and Amy Tucker Dodd in Alpharetta, Ga. June 13, 1920. He graduated from the University of Georgia after serving in World War II as a medic aboard the USS Ajax. He spent his early career as a teacher and coach at Russell High School in East Point, GA and later became principal at Russell. He also served as principal at Campbell High School in Fairburn, GA and at M. D. Collins High until his retirement. He is survived by daughter Jana Wynne of Arlington, TX, son Larry of Fayetteville, brother Ira Carlton Dodd, sister Carolyn Ingram, dear caregiver Marie Knowles, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Dr. Bob Martin will officiate.
