Elaine, I along with so many of your Phi Mu Sisters are devastated for your and your daughter's loss of Greg. Courtney Davis Ray and I were chatting about the wonderful times we all had on the flag football field with Greg leading the way. :). What good memories! And, like so many others have said who could forget the smile and laughter! Please know that so many folks are lifting you, your daughter, and all the family up in our prayers!

Elaine-
I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't seen you and Greg since college but thoughts of you guys crossed my mind over the years. I too lost a husband and my heart goes out to you and Madison. I understand what you must be feeling but know that there are so many that cared for Greg and who will care for and love you through this process. God bless you and Madison!

My heart is breaking for you Elaine and for Madison... May God comfort you in the days to follow. We are weak, but He is strong. I am deeply sorry that I could not be there at the funeral today to honor such a great friend to many. Though it has been years since our paths have crossed, I will never forget his smile . He found such joy in making others laugh and his happiness was contagious. I met Greg at the Dixie Roller rink in Marietta (late 70s). This was foreign to me as I was from New York and we didn't really have indoor roller rinks up there... but he was incredibly good and I was quite smitten by him, and desperately tried not to make a complete fool of myself during the "couples" skate. He was a hoot! Will miss that spirit, but happy to know I'll see him again. To the Millsaps family, may the Lord shine His light upon you and give you peace....

My heart breaks for Elaine & Madison.... May God comfort and guide you in the days ahead. I am still in shock and disbelief at losing a friend as good as Greg. He had a wonderful balance of work and play and a true spirit to guide the way. His legacy should live on and on as he has touched so many lives with his passion and kind spirit. I am sure going to miss bugger. RIP big man....we love you.

It has been many years since seeing Greg last, but my memories of him from both high school and college have brought me more laughter than tears these last few days. In reading this guest book and posts about him elsewhere made me proud of the husband and father he became. I was blessed to have known him, for sure.

To the Millsaps family,
I have had the chance to work on a project fairly closely with Greg over the last few months. In this short time , I can truly understand how missed he will be, always polite and professional, and most of all passionate. I am grieving with you , my thoughts and prayers for your family.

We are all stunned by your sudden and untimely passing. Many of us who knew you well can say you are truly the best friend anyone could ever have. I will forever cherish the countless hours I have spent with you through the years. I have nothing but fond and happy memories of you. Your relentless antics and pranks kept all who knew you entertained and amused. You always lived your life "Full Throttle", with passion and appeared to enjoy every step of the way. You reminded us all that we are but little boys who still love to play. I am still in disbelief you have departed this world as I sit fighting off my tears of emotion while looking at your picture and writing this. You will truly be passionately missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. May God comfort and always bless Elaine Madison , and all the extended family. Farewell my brother and may you rest in peace and be called to the glory of God!

Sweet Madison...I was so sad to hear about your dad...I said to many this week that my memory of you was a precious little wisp of a kindergartner with the most precious mom and dad! Love you and mom...hope I can see you Sunday.
