Family-Placed Death Notice

HULL, Camie CAMIE "MIMI" HULL Camie "Mimi" Hull, 85, of Lilburn, Georgia fell asleep in Christ on Dec. 7, 2013, following a brain hemorrhage on Thanksgiving Day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arby in 2003. Mrs. Hull is survived by two children: Tammy Smith and her husband John, of Greensboro, GA, and Rev. Michael Hull and his wife Deborah, of Augusta, GA.; Grandchildren: Christy Hull of Augusta, GA.; Michael Ross Hull of Tyler, Texas; Lacie Groeninger and her husband Paul of Athens, GA.; and Jesse Smith of Flowery Branch, GA. Great grandchildren: Mackenzie D'Ann Hull of Augusta, GA., and Olivia D'Ann Groeninger of Athens, GA. Mrs. Hull performed with the Hi-Lo's and Hi-Lo-ettes, and was active in the Happy Hearts, Red Hat Society, H2U, and was a volunteer at Heritage and Eastside Hospitals. Camie was the 2005 Miss Senior Snellville. She also competed in area beauty pageants and talent shows. Mrs. Hull was an Orthodox Christian, but after her husband died she found love, support, and many friends at Cannon United Methodist Church, where she was involved in numerous activities. Mrs. Hull obtained her teaching degree from UCLA, and was a curriculum consultant and vocational education teacher. After moving to Georgia she worked with her son in law at Atlanta Toyota in the marketing department. The remarkable thing that everyone will always remember about Camie is that she brightened up wherever she was with good cheer and humor. People loved to be with "Mimi." Visitation will be on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tom W. Wages Funeral Home Chapel in Snellville. The Orthodox Prayer Service will be at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Cannon United Methodist Church, 2424 Webb Gin House Road in Snellville, with Rev. William Zant and Father Michael Hull officiating. The Orthodox Burial service will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ignatios Melkite Catholic Church in Augusta, GA, for scholarships in Mrs. Hull's name. Condolences may be viewed or sent to www.wagesfuneralhome.com.
