Clayton SINCLAIR Jr.

SINCLAIR, Jr., Clayton CLAYTON SINCLAIR JR. Attorney Clayton Sinclair Jr., age 80, of Atlanta, GA, passed away February 10, 2014 at Piedmont Hospital, GA. Clayton was born in 1933 in North Carolina. He grew up in New York City and finished high school in Maine graduating from Traip Academy. After high school, Clayton went on to the University of Maine and Howard University law school. Clayton loved helping people and spent the majority of his professional life practicing law in Atlanta, Ga. He was an active member of the National Bar Association, often attending their annual conferences. Clayton was also an active member of his church, Bethel United Methodist, serving in numerous leadership capacities over the years. His helping, caring spirit will surely be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jean Bryant Sinclair, his father Clayton Sinclair, Sr and his mother Hazel A. Sinclair. He is survived by his son, Clayton Sinclair III; grandson Clayton Sinclair IV and daughter-in-law Nicole L. Sinclair who live in Atlanta, GA. The family wants to thank their dear friends Gladys Smith and Versey McLendon for their unwavering support. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bethel United Methodist Church, Atlanta. The burial will follow at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta.
