BRASELTON, Green Mr. Green Braselton, age 100 of Conyers, died Saturday, August 9, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Betty Braselton, which he called "The Babe." Also survived by daughter, Cheryl Anderson, Austin, Texas; stepsons, Harry and Debbie Taylor, Lawrenceville and David and Jan Taylor, Conyers; grandchildren, David Michael Taylor, James Matthew Taylor, Eric Michael Taylor, Michael Harrison Taylor, Michelle Ann Taylor, Holly Elizabeth Taylor, Phillip Anderson, Kelly and Seith Egliht; great grandson, Henry Green Egliht and great granddaughter, Georgia Elizabeth Egliht; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Green graduated from Braselton High School. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II in the Panama Canal and The First Troop Carrier Command. Mr. Braselton graduated from Atlanta Law School with LLB and LLM degrees and was employed for 40 years with the State Department of Veteran Services as a claims counselor. Mr. Braselton was a member of Crosspoint Christian Church, Sons of the American Revolution and The Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had many friends and he loved them all. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services, Green Meadows Chapel with Reverend Curt Zehner officiating. Interment will follow at Braselton Family Memorial Cemetery; family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014.
