Just heard of Toms passing. Brought wonderful old memories back of fishing, vettin, mechanics We lost touch through the last years but I remember him fondly. So sorry for your loss.

Jeannette, I was lucky to have met Tommy and then you almost 30 yrs. ago. Tommy's “larger than life” persona and quick wit was legendary among those who knew him… his coworkers and clients at his shop, those who knew him from any and all things Corvette, or those lucky enough to ride along on one of his beloved boats; be it bass fishing upriver on Lake West Point, bonefishing the flats of the Florida Keys, tarpon fishing under Bahia Honda Bridge at night, or trolling offshore for “dragging” size dolphin. Whether holding court at his trailer on the seawall, hollering over the roar of a boat motor, or perched on Liar's Bench at Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge; mixed in with the sweet smell of one of his cigars one could always count on Captain Tommy's unexpurgated opinion on anything and everything.
His unwavering loyalty to his close friends and family are a tribute to you. I will miss him terribly.
