We just learned of Dr. Waring's passing from our eye doctor in Venice, FL. We both were patients from Emory for lasik, cataract and PRK until we moved to SWFL in the fall of 2014. He was so kind and caring with a great sense of humor. We placed our faith in him for our eye care and he delivered over many years. We will dearly miss him with the fondest of memories.

I am so sorry to hear the news that Dr. Warning passed away. I was a cornea patient of Dr. Warning and he performed two cornea transplants, the first in 1982. I credit him for saving my sight. He was a brilliant surgeon. Thank you Dr. George Warning. Brinton Smith
