Family-Placed Death Notice

Ellen Faye Arnovitz, afflicted with cerebral palsy since birth, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the age of 56. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Morris Arnovitz. She is survived by brother, Eliot Arnovitz; sister, Susan Plasker; sister-in-law, Ellen Arnovitz and brother-in-law, Michael Plasker all of Atlanta; step-sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jimmy Rotenstreich, Birmingham, AL; aunts and uncles, Dolores and Harold Arnovitz, Renee Feldman, Jean Isaacson, and Fran and Dave Landau; step-mother, Ruth Arnovitz; nephews and nieces, Kevin Arnovitz, Los Angeles, CA, Staci Arnovitz and Pearl Ann Arnovitz, New York City, Shauna and Steven Grosswald, Dara and Andy Grant, and Jessica Plasker all of Atlanta, GA; and numerous cousins and loved ones. Special recognition goes to Cathy Williams, former Director of The Gatchell Home, for her caring guidance and counsel, and Sonya Jones and Tatyana Fersgott for their years of loving care. Graveside services will be held today, November 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, with Rabbi Neil Sandler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the William Breman Jewish Home or the Weinstein Hospice, both located at 3150 Howell Mill Rd., N.W., Atlanta, GA 30327, or the charity of one's choice.
