Family-Placed Death Notice

Mrs. Lillian Newin Gamble, 72, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004. She was a retired employee of 30 years at the J.C. Penny Distribution Center. Mrs. Gamble is survived by her husband, Bert Gamble, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Bill Goryca, Laurie and Mark Hatalla, Lisa and Ed Rice; 2 sons, Brian Gamble and Bruce Gamble; grandchildren, Gaitlyn and James Goryca, Whitney and Erin Perry, Jared Rice, David and Daniel Hatalla and Shelby Gamble. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jonesboro Chapel. Burial will be in the Jonesboro City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribitons to the American Cancer Society. Pope Dickson & Son, Jonesboro is in charge.
